Welcome From The Developer
Hi there! I’m Nathan, the developer of Tiny Dungeons.
The aim of this blog is to keep everyone informed on the games progress, and to gather feedback! I’ll be using it to post screenshots, videos, and general updates when something new and interesting gets added to the game. I’ll also be posting announcements here, so make sure to check back regularly for news on the games launch.
I wanted to take this opportunity to answer a few questions about the game, although some of this info may change as I get closer to launch.
What is Tiny Dungeons?
Tiny Dungeons is a hack n’ slash 2D adventure / action game that draws inspiration from the likes of Vampire Survivors and The Binding of Isaac. Here’s a little intro:
Betrayed and left for dead in the treacherous depths of a sprawling dungeon, your only hope lies in the enigmatic hands of ‘The Fortune Teller.’ Reanimated and armed with nothing but sheer determination, you face a relentless labyrinth, swarming hordes of enemies, and formidable elite bosses. Alone, your chances of survival are slim, but with The Fortune Teller’s guidance, you just might stand a chance…
Tiny Dungeons has features such as customisable player housing, a companion system, mini procedurally generated dungeons and much more! The most exciting feature is The Fortune Teller system, which guarantees every playthrough is totally unique!
Draw from a deck of 78 distinct cards, each with the power to either elevate you to godlike prowess or plunge you into the abyss of defeat. Every dungeon run is an unpredictable rollercoaster of fate… can you escape the unescapable dungeon?
When Will Tiny Dungeons be Launching?
I’m currently planning to launch Early Access in December 2023 / January 2024. Many of the core features have already been built, but there is still lots of work to do in terms of art, level design, music etc.
Once Early Access goes live, I’ll be adding more features in stages, with an eventually full release sometime next year.
What Platforms will Tiny Dungeons Launch On?
The game will launch on Steam to begin with, with a PC Game Pass and Xbox release planned for a later date.
Is Tiny Dungeons Multiplayer?
No. Tiny Dungeons was built from the start to be a single player experience. Multiplayer may come in the future, but it’s not currently planned as a feature.
